I was watching a program last night with Martin Lewis, money-saving guru and owner of MoneySavingExpert.com. In it, he was trying to help various families make their money stretch further. One of the ideas he came up with was taking paid surveys. He said you should be able to make around £250 a year from it (which I agree with as I was £35 shy of it last year).I then thought to myself that maybe I've been aiming too high with my £350 figure. Having made £172.28 so far this year, his figure is looking more likely than the £350 I plucked out of thin air!
So, I've decided to aim for £250 instead. It'll still be quite an achievement if I make £250 'cos:
- it would be a bit more than I made last year
- it would still be a challenge 'cos I'd still have to make £77.72 over the next 4 months to reach it
With the revised figure, I'm feeling more relaxed and confident. I feel it's definitely doable. Only time will tell, though, so watch this space.
