Survey Earnings: Revised Target...

I was watching a program last night with Martin Lewis, money-saving guru and owner of MoneySavingExpert.com. In it, he was trying to help various families make their money stretch further. One of the ideas he came up with was taking paid surveys. He said you should be able to make around £250 a year from it (which I agree with as I was £35 shy of it last year).

I then thought to myself that maybe I've been aiming too high with my £350 figure. Having made £172.28 so far this year, his figure is looking more likely than the £350 I plucked out of thin air!

So, I've decided to aim for £250 instead. It'll still be quite an achievement if I make £250 'cos:

- it would be a bit more than I made last year

- it would still be a challenge 'cos I'd still have to make £77.72 over the next 4 months to reach it

With the revised figure, I'm feeling more relaxed and confident. I feel it's definitely doable. Only time will tell, though, so watch this space.

Survey Payments Received this Week...

Got my Pinecone Research payment on Tuesday and my Lightspeed Panel payment the next day, so it's all good :-)

Proof of payments below:

I also logged into my MySurvey UK account to realise I had over 1000 points sitting in there. Instead of transferring it to my Nectar card, I'm gonna let it build up a bit more so I can request a £10 Boots voucher. I wanna give it to my sister.

Survey Update: MySurvey, LightSpeed Panel, Pinecone Research...

1) I got my MySurvey UK payment about 2 weeks ago (£7.50 on my Nectar card). It came in EXTREMELY handy as money was tight that week, so I really appreciated having a big chunk of my food shopping paid for.

When I get the chance, I'm gonna log into my Nectar account and copy across the proof. I had a receipt detailing the points, but can't find it now.

2) Finally reached payout on LightSpeed Panel UK (£3.00). It's not that they don't have regular surveys. It's just that I find I either don't qualify for lots of them, or I don't attempt them 'cos the length of some of the surveys put me off.

Glad I've reached payout, but I'm not sure I'll be going back.

3) Pinecone Research surveys have been thin on the ground for me this month. But I'm happy to say I got one a few days ago. Should be getting my £3.00 payment for that soon.

That's about it, really. I still have my £16 Amazon.co.uk voucher from Harris Poll. It expires at the end of the year so I've got time, but I don't wanna forget so I'm looking to use it soon'ish.
